OLDSMOBILIA
Many people have visited this site not in search of parts but for general Oldsmobile Information. I am going to try and build here a small useful site for parts, service and information. Please feel free to ask specific questions because I am fortunate in having a couple of mechanic type friends who remember and worked around these cars when they were fairly new.
For body panels and sheet steel it unfortunately is my general opinion that during the passage of time many things for these vintage of Oldsmobile have become made of unobtanium. As far as I know there aren't many of these cars in wrecking yards anymore, the closure of Halls a few years ago meant the loss of a good specialty source.

Search GOOGLE - YAHOO - or ALTAVISTA and follow links - there are some enthusiasts on the internet all over the planet and in Europe who have posted helpful information. A good example of what can be found is this site http://www.carnut.com/specs/gen/olds60.html which has engine specs for 1960-69.
Transmission Replacement
There were some people who wanted to know where to get the kit to convert from an older hydra-matic transmissions

Many years ago www.fusick.com had lots of pieces for 62-64's but each year more and more items aren't in the new catalogue, they are still a excellent place to try for rubber, decals, clips, fasteners, convertible parts and some mechanical pieces
